·         WHAT?

Are you learning Finnish, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese or another language?

Do you have some problems with speaking skills? Do you want to practice it with native speakers?

Do you want to meet more international friends, and know more about another country’ culture?

IDS CAFÉ LINGUA is informal way to learn foreign languages in group conversations with the help of native speakers.

·         HOW IT WORKS?

ALL IS FREE!!!You can just come to the café (K1 floor, in front of HELGA office, Pasila campus), choose your table/theme languages in your favour and interact with other students. There are always native speakers to help to start a conversation and to give you tutoring. Native speakers are not only tutors or international students but also teachers.

IDS Caf Lingua has theme languages every time and that is how we make sure that we have native speakers present. Beside the theme languages you can speak the language that you want!

·         To whom?

This event is open to everybody who wants to learn a foreign language or teach one’s own native language to others. IDS Café Lingua is part of HAAGA-HELIA’s international student activities and great place to make friends!

Like we all know speaking is the best and most effective way to learn a language!

·         What else?

During this spring semester IDS will study what are the most popular languages and concentrate on those in the future. You can vote your favourite at every event and choose what the languages that IDS Café Lingua has in May for example.

IDS offers some snacks, fruits, coffee, and tea to participants
