IDS EVENTS
IDS creates different activities for international degree students of HAAGA-HELIA. These activities include monthly events, trips, seminars and parties.
Monthly events
During study year 2011-2012 students will have an opportunity to participate in events that are organized and financed by IDS and HELGA.
Every month is organized IDS Café Lingua. IDS Café Lingua is an event dedicated to learn foreign languages and cutures while having a cup of coffee with snacks. Every first Thursday of each month you can come to K1 floor, in front of HELGA student union office at Pasila campus and have a conversation with native speakers of the language that you want to learn. (IDS Café Lingua timetable: 1.9., 6.10., 3.11., 1.12.)
Cuisine night is another event that will be organized monthly by IDS. Every month there will be an opportunity to cook delicious dishes of particular cultures. The premices for cooking are in HAAGA-HELIA HAAGA campus. Follow the announcements and register for the event monthlly at: cuisine.night@gmail.com

Trips
During the first semester of the study year 2011-2012 IDS will organizes trips for international degree students. More information will be announced. There are planned hiking trip to Nuuksio, trip to St.Petersburg in Russia, ski trip to Serena.
